Recipe for making mini tea cakes

Do you ever have one of those days where you just crave something sweet? We’ve all been there. You know what always hits the spot for me? A nice, homemade mini tea cake. Not only are they delicious, but they’re also pretty easy to make. Here’s what you’ll need:
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just blended.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Grease and flour a mini muffin tin, or line with mini cupcake liners. Fill each cup about 3/4 full.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick or cake tester comes out clean when inserted into the center of a cake.
And that’s it! These little guys are perfect with a cup of tea or coffee, or even as a quick snack. If you’re feeling fancy, you can even top them with a little bit of icing or fruit
