Always a rewarding sweet lunch or dinner.
1.
From a little warm milk, sugar and yeast, make a sourdough starter (let it rise a little in a mug). Add the leaven and milk to the flour with a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of oil. Cover, place in a warm place and let rise for about 1h.
2.
On a floured board, roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick. Cut into even squares. Place a teaspoon of jam (jam, Nutella) on each square and wrap it in the dough to form a bun.
3.
Place water, a sieve and baking paper in a saucepan. Steam the buns for 10 minutes. (Don’t forget to top up the water).
4.
Flavour the hot buns to taste. Enjoy!
