Although the former Yugoslavia is now a thing of the past, the recipes remain. This one is for a savoury dessert served both hot and cold, smeared with various savoury spreads, garnished with various Vegetable Recipes or smeared with ketchup and sprinkled with onions.

Procedure:
1. Beat the eggs in salted water and stir in the cornflour to form a thin batter
2. Pour the batter onto a baking tray greased with lard and drizzle it with hot lard
3. Bake in a warm oven heated to 170-180 °C, when it starts to brown, pierce it in several places with a fork, continue baking until it turns red
4. 5. Each portion can be garnished with spicy spread and various Vegetable Recipes, or spread with ketchup, sprinkle with onions, etc.
