Vietnamese Style Beef with Rice

Veseka beef can be served simply with bread or used as an ingredient for further cooking. For example, you can try a quick and tasty Asian-inspired hot dinner – Vietnamese-style beef with rice.

Ingredients:

400 g (1 tin) Veseko beef in its own juices 1 handful of mushrooms 2 pieces garlic cloves 1 pc about 2 cm of ginger 1 pc onions 1 pc carrots 1 pk leek 1 tbsp good quality soy sauce oil (preferably sesame) chilli sauce to taste pepper salt On rice: 300 g rice 600 ml rice 600 ml rice water salt

Procedure:

First, prepare the ingredients; take the meat out of the tin and cut into smaller pieces, wash the leeks and cut them into rounds, wash, clean and cut the mushrooms in half and then slice them into thin slices, scrape the carrots and cut them into thin fries, cut the onion in half and slice it thinly, peel and press the garlic cloves, scrape the ginger – this works great with a spoon (the juice is best extracted with a garlic press, but you can also slice it thinly)

Cook the rice in double the volume of water – 600 ml, you can put less water and gradually check the cooking and add water if necessary, but the ratio is 1:2 should always work

Heat the oil in a wok, add first half of the chopped onion and after about two minutes add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce and chilli sauce, stir thoroughly so that nothing burns, if necessary we can add more oil

Add the chopped beef pieces and mushrooms to the pan, stirring constantly

After five minutes we can add the remaining Vegetable Recipes and reduce the heat, when the beef is golden and the Vegetable Recipes are slightly softened, we can turn off the cooker

Season with salt and pepper if necessary

Serve the mixture with cooked rice.
