Turkey sweet and sour

Sweet with a bit of a sour taste, that’s the traditional “Sweet and sour” in this recipe inspired by Asian cuisine but remade by the English.

Ingredients:

600 g of turkey (breast) 2 pcs colored meat peppers (red, yellow) 2-3 pcs garlic cloves 2 pcs carrots 1 pcs onions 1/2 cans sliced pineapple and brine 2-3 tbsp liquid honey 2-3 tablespoons sweet ketchup 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce 1 tbsp potato starch (wine vinegar) pepper oil salt

Procedure:

  • Make the marinade; mince the peeled garlic, stir in 3-4 tablespoons of oil, add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of starch, mix everything
  • Slice the meat into noodles, season with salt and pepper, mix with the marinade, let it rest for 1 to 2 hours or even overnight
  • Add a little oil to the pan, fry first the carrots cut into slices, onions into strips, after a while add the peppers cut into thicker noodles, fry everything for a while
  • Season the Vegetable Recipes in the pan with chilli sauce, ketchup, add the pineapple chunks with a little brine, honey, cook everything for a while, taste, season with salt and pepper, if you find it too sweet, just drizzle a little wine vinegar over the sauce

  • At this stage, return the roasted meat to the sauce, stir, reheat the meat and serve immediately.
