Tomato Soup with Dumplings

A tasty soup made from a can of tomatoes, chicken broth and other ingredients, with an insert of macaroni and meatballs.

Procedure:
1. Remove the crust from the slices of preferably day-old bread, drizzle with milk, tear the soaked bread and mix it with the minced meat
2. Add basil and pepper to the meat, salt the mixture and work it into a cohesive mass
3. Use a spoon to form smaller balls and fry them on each side in hot oil
4. Leave the finished soup dumplings on a paper towel to drain
5. Heat about a tablespoon of oil in a saucepan, add chopped onion and garlic cloves and sauté for 3-4 minutes
6. Pour the hot chicken broth and water over the sautéed ingredients, add the pickled tomatoes and broken macaroni, cook for 8-10 minutes, then add the meatballs and heat through
