The recipe for grills Tahiti potatoes
Last Updated on
Most people think of potatoes as a winter dish, but they can be just as delicious in the summertime! grilled Tahiti potatoes are a perfect example.
Tahiti potatoes are small, round potatoes that are black on the outside and white on the inside. They’re native to Tahiti, hence their name, and are commonly used in Polynesian cuisine.
The best way to cook Tahiti potatoes is by grilling them. This brings out their natural sweetness and makes them nice and crispy on the outside.
To grill Tahiti potatoes, you’ll need:
1 pound Tahiti potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Wash the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Place the potatoes on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping once, until they’re tender and slightly charred.
Serve immediately.
These grilled Tahiti potatoes are the perfect side dish for any summer BBQ. They’re also great on their own as a light snack or appetizer. If you can’t find Tahiti potatoes, any other small, round potato will work just as well
