The origin and location of the Sundae is hotly debated between the cities of Ithaca (on the southern coast of New York State) and Two Rivers (in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin), both of which claim the top spot. The preparation of the ice cream sundae is very simple and quick. There are several types of sundaes such as: “Turtle sudae”, “Hot fudge sundae”, “Brownie sundae”, “American parfait”, “Banana split”, “Banana Foster” … These sundaes usually contain vanilla ice cream, cookies, cereal, chocolate and also fruit.
