4 servings 400 g smoked meat 750 g boiled skinned C, B potatoes 350 g coarse flour 1 egg 1 pinch of salt
Procedure for the recipe
1 In a large saucepan, add water, salt and bring to the boil. Cut the cooked smoked meat into small cubes. Peel the cooled potatoes and finely grate them directly on the work surface. 2 Do not let the dough rest and knead it as quickly as possible to prevent it from thinning. Roll out the dough and cut it into evenly sized pieces. Shape them into patties, stuff them with the smoked meat, tie them up like a bag and form round dumplings. Place them on a board sprinkled with coarse flour.
TIP: Cranberry cabbage
3 Immediately place the dumplings in boiling salted water and cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on size.
