progress in the video above
A very healthy plant that is great not only for tea but also as a great, very tasty and quick meal It is on the table every year in our house and we love it.
1.
We pick it in the first garden, preferably in nature, it grows especially near streams. It is harvested young, preferably only the top half of the plant. Be careful because it stings, you’d better wear gloves. I personally pick it without gloves and I also cut it as you can see in the video only with my bare hands It almost doesn’t sting me at all Finally, rinse the picked nettle.
2.
Cut the nettles, dice the onion and clean the garlic. As for the pouring, I usually make this soup purely with water, but if someone wants, he can replace part of the water with milk, or soften the soup towards the end with cooking cream It’s up to you.
3.
In a saucepan, saute the onion in oil, put the stinging nettle on it, salt it a little and let it reduce its volume a little, stirring occasionally. Then pour water over it, you can give it from the eye. Add salt, ground pepper and grated garlic. Cover and let cook until soft, that is about 15 minutes
4.
Mix the cooked zihlava, dust with 1pl of cornflour which is added to thicken it, for consistency don’t let it be so watery Mix well and let it cook for 10 minutes. It should be covered with a lid, because it fry
5.
Serve the hot soup for example with ox eye, roasted sausage, fashirka, with potatoes, with bread, etc… We had ox eye. Have a good taste!
