Green ingredients
2 servings 800 g peeled potatoes, approx. 100 g spinach leaves or baby spinach, approx. 3 cloves of garlic to taste, 2 – 100 g Moravian bacon or ham – optional 250 ml of cream salt pepper ground nutmeg or flower – optional my salt or oil for greasing 100 g Niva cheese or other savoury cheese, approx. Line the bottom of a greased baking dish with half the slices (evenly spaced). Place the washed and drained spinach on top of the potato layer, then sprinkle with chopped garlic, finely chopped bacon (if you prefer potatoes without meat, do not add sausage), season with pepper (nutmeg or mace), salt and place the remaining half of the potatoes on top. 2 Pour the cream over everything, season with salt and bake, covered, in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. Then uncover, add a little milk if necessary to prevent the potatoes from burning, and bake until tender. 3 When the baking is finished, sprinkle the cheese over the potatoes and allow it to melt.
