Spring Farm Feast – asparagus, ham and potatoes from the pan

Homemade hams and smoked meats are particularly popular among farmers in South Tyrol. You can try, for example, a springtime, lighter version of the farmer’s feast.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Boil the potatoes until semi-soft
2. Let them cool, peel them and cut them into slices
3. Fry them in butter in a pan with the onion and after a while add the smoked meat
4. After browning, pour in stock as needed
5. Peel the asparagus and boil in salted water
6. Cut into thirds and add to the pan
7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Recommendation:
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh chopped chives.
