Steak tacos are a delicious and easy way to get a hearty meal on the table, and they’re perfect for just about any occasion. This steak tacos with avocado recipe is a twist on the classic that’s sure to please everyone at the table. The best part is that it’s easy to make and can be on the table in just about 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper
10-12 small soft tacos
2 avocados, diced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Rub steak with the spice mixture, then place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly pink in the center.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, warm the tacos in the oven for about 5 minutes.
To assemble, place a few slices of steak in each taco, then top with diced avocado, cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime juice
