Stamppot
This Dutch national dish consists of mashed potatoes mixed with steamed Vegetable Recipes, served with rounds of roasted or boiled sausage.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Clean all Vegetable Recipes, scrape or peel them and cut them into small cubes, cut cabbage or kale or chard into small strips, leeks into rounds
2. Pour the prepared Vegetable Recipes into a large pot and cover them with water so that they are almost all submerged, bring them to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes
3. Fry the sausages in a frying pan in oil or boil them in water, keep warm when ready
4. Drain the Vegetable Recipes, mash or puree them all together with the butter
5. Serve the Stamppot with warm sausage rounds, garnished with chopped parsley.
