Speck dumplings with smoked meat (bun)
Last Updated on
Steamed dumplings made of bacon, smoked meat, coarse flour, eggs, onions … and of course buns.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Cut the rolls into cubes, finely chop the onion, finely chop the bacon and the smoked meat into the same cubes as the rolls
2. Pour a little of the smoked broth left over from the English rolls, add 3 eggs and the browned rolls and meat, add salt, pepper, nutmeg, flour (not too much) and if the batter seems thin, add breadcrumbs
4. Then shape the dumplings and steam them according to size (I steamed them for 15 minutes with a diameter of 10 cm)
5. Serve with sauerkraut and fried onions.
