A hot sauce recipe is not complete without the perfect blend of spices. This special hot sauce recipe is the perfect way to add some spice to your life. Made with a variety of different chili peppers, this hot sauce is sure to please.
The first step to making this hot sauce is to gather your ingredients. You will need:
1 pound of hot peppers (habanero, serrano, jalapeño, or a combination)
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup of white vinegar
1 teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 cup of water
Start by washing the peppers. Remove the stems and seeds from the peppers, then chop them into small pieces. Add the peppers, garlic, vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the water and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool.
Once cooled, transfer the sauce to a glass jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator. This sauce will keep for up to 2 weeks.
