Hey everyone! In this blog post, I’m going to share with you my recipe for spaghetti sauce without pasta. This is a super easy and healthy recipe that is perfect for those days when you’re craving something hearty and savory, but don’t want all the carbs that come with pasta. Plus, this sauce can be used in so many different ways – on top of chicken or fish, mixed into some veggies, or even just eaten on its own! Here’s what you’ll need:
-1 can of diced tomatoes
-1/2 a onion, diced
-3 cloves of garlic, minced
-1 tsp. of olive oil
-1/4 tsp. of dried oregano
-1/4 tsp. of salt
-1/4 tsp. of black pepper
Simply combine all of the above ingredients in a large saucepan over medium heat. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the onions are soft. That’s it! You now have a delicious, healthy, and versatile spaghetti sauce that is sure to become a new favorite.
There are endless possibilities when it comes to using this sauce. As I mentioned before, it goes great on chicken or fish. You could also mix it into some steamed broccoli or roasted cauliflower for a veggie-packed meal. Or, if you’re really craving pasta, toss it with some zucchini noodles or spiralized potatoes. Basically, you can use it however you like! I hope you enjoy this recipe and please feel free to share your own creations with me in the comments below
