Spaghetti sauce recipe using diced pimentos

This spaghetti sauce recipe is the perfect way to use up those diced pimentos! It’s a delicious and easy way to make your own pasta sauce, and it’s packed with flavor.
Ingredients:
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced pimentos
1/2 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine all of the ingredients and stir well.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer for about 30 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary. Serve over your favorite pasta.
This sauce is also great on chicken or beef. Just simmer it with your protein of choice until everything is cooked through. You can also use this sauce as a base for other sauces or soups
