South African farmers’ recipe for preparing mutton, which we can try for example at Easter.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Cut the meat into cubes and place in a marinade made from milk, vinegar, marjoram, thyme, peppercorns, bay leaf and salt
2. Marinate the meat for at least 8 hours
3. Thread the marinated cubes onto skewers; alternate pieces of meat, mutton tallow (English bacon) and onion
4. Grill the skewers, preferably on an outdoor grill, until tender
5. Serve the sausages with Vegetable Recipes and bread.
