Simple French Toast

Slice of toasted bread coated in beaten eggs with milk and cinnamon, fried in butter, then coated in granulated sugar, served with a piece of butter drizzled with maple syrup.

Ingredients:

8 pcs slices of preferably aged toasted bread 2-3 pieces of egg 1 dcl milk 2 heaped tablespoons butter + butter to serve 1 heaped tbsp cinnamon + cinnamon to sprinkle

td>crystal sugar for coating

maple syrup salt pin + possibly fruit to serve

Procedure:

Whisk the eggs together with the milk, season with cinnamon and a pinch of salt

Coat the toast in granulated sugar, serve warm, with a knob of butter, drizzled with maple syrup.

Recommendation:

Fresh fruit can be served with the toast.
