Egg Pancake

Quick recipe for making a tasty egg and cheese fritter.


200 g of soft diet sausage in whole 200 g of hard cheese 20 g of gelatine (1 bag) 200 ml mayonnaise 2 dl of cucumber pickle 2 tbsp sterilised capers 4 pcs hard boiled eggs 2 pcs sour pickles food foil form (e.g.


  • Grate the cheese, cut the salami, cucumber and eggs into smaller cubes, cut the capers into smaller pieces and mix everything in a bowl.
  • Mix the gelatin in the cucumber brine, heat it until it dissolves, then remove it from the heat.
  • Using a whisk, whisk the gelatin into the mayonnaise.
  • Pour this mixture over the chopped ingredients, gently mix everything together and pour into a mould lined with cling film.
  • Let the egg mixture set perfectly in the fridge (about 2 hours).
  • Once thawed, cut it into slices about 1 cm thick, garnish with fresh Vegetable Recipes and serve with bread as a cold appetizer or a tasty snack.
