800 g potatoes 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp butter 1 pk onion a little salt a little ground black pepper

1. Fry the chopped onion in the oil and butter, add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper and stir. 2. Press the potato mass with a fork into the bottom of the pan to form a single pancake and roast for 10 min, if necessary, loosen the pancake from the bottom so that it does not burn. 3. When one side is cooked, cover the pan with a plate, flip the pancake onto it, slide it back into the pan and cook again until golden brown. Serve the rosti either on its own or as a side dish with the meat.
