Red lentil spread

100 g whole red lentils peeled 1 pk egg 1 clove garlic salt black pepper 1/2 tsp ground red pepper minced young onion or leek 1 tbsp olive oil lemon juice

A tasty legume spread full of health.

Place the lentils in salted water to boil for about 6-7 minutes. It is cooked very quickly. Strain through a sieve, let cool and transfer to a bowl.

Hard boil the eggs and chop finely or push through a potato masher.

Slice the young onion or leek into rounds. Peel and mash the garlic.

To the lentils in a bowl, add the garlic, olive oil, ground red pepper, season with pepper, a splash of lemon juice, season with salt if necessary and blend until smooth.

Finally, stir in the hard-boiled egg.
6.
Decorate the hot spread with chopped onion or leek. Serve with wholemeal bread or rolls. Enjoy!
