Simple Quick & Easy Chili Recipe
To me the perfect chili consists of just beans and beef. Don’t add it to things like pepper, corn, etc. If you must say chili cleanser, but I don’t care! I have this chili on top of the waffle fries and french fries that I cooked in my air fryer and got a little cheese in it. Mmm. It’s also great on top of chili chips or hot dogs. I cannot take any credit for this recipe because it is from Drummond. Whenever I have some peppers, this recipe is what I always prepare.
This pepper is a bit thick because there is not much liquid. Whenever I reheat it, I’ll add a couple of tablespoons of water to soak it in a bit. If you can’t find Massa Harena you can skip it. I’ve done enough time and it still looks good
Place ground beef in a large pot and toss in the garlic. Cook on medium flame until brown. Remove the excess fat, and then add tomato sauce, chili powder, cilantro, oregano, salt and cayenne pepper. Stir well, cover, and then reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes excessively dry, add 1/2 cup of water at a time as needed.
After an hour, place the mussels in a small bowl. Add 1/2 cup water and stir with a fork. Throw the spice mixture over the chili. Stir together well, and then taste and adjust to taste. Add more masala paste and / or water to get the pepper to your preferred consistency, or add more corn flavor. Add the beans and boil for 10 minutes. Serve with sliced sheets, sliced onions, tortilla chips and lime money.
