Recipe to make beach wrap from scratch recipe
Last Updated on
A beach wrap is a great way to cover up while still feeling summery. If you don’t want to spend the money on a store-bought one, though, don’t worry – it’s easy to make your own!
You’ll need a couple of yards of thin fabric – cotton is perfect. A yard will make a wrap that’s about 60 inches long and 42 inches wide. If you want it to be wider or longer, just get more fabric.
Cut your fabric into a rectangle, then hem the long sides and one short side. You can do this by hand or with a sewing machine, whichever is easier for you. Once that’s done, you’re ready to wear your new beach wrap!
Tie it around your waist like a sarong, or drape it over your shoulders for a more elegant look. It’s also easy to turn this into a beach dress – just tie the ends together at your chest, and you’re good to go.
This wrap is perfect for days when you want to feel put-together but don’t want to deal with a lot of fabric. It’s light and airy, and can easily be thrown in a bag when you’re done with it
