Recipe for peanut butter squares

Do you love peanut butter? Do you love chocolate? Well, here’s a recipe for a delicious treat that combines the two! Peanut butter squares are easy to make and only require a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
-1 cup of peanut butter
-1 cup of sugar
-1 egg
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
-1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
-1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Stir in chocolate chips.
7. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week
