Recipe for making pineapple upside-down cake

Pineapple upside-down cake is a classic dessert that consists of a pineapple ring placed upside-down on top of a cake. The cake is then baked and served with a sticky, sweet sauce.
To make this delectable dessert, you will need:
-1 (20-ounce) can pineapple slices
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup butter, melted
-1 box yellow cake mix
-3 eggs
-1/3 cup vegetable oil
-1 cup water
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
3. Arrange the pineapple slices in the bottom of the pan.
4. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and melted butter. Pour over pineapple.
5. In another bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil and water. Pour over the pineapple mixture.
6. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center of the cake.
7. Let cool for 10 minutes. Invert onto a serving plate. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
This cake is best served fresh and warm, but it can also be made ahead of time and reheated before serving
