Simple and traditional dish spiced up with a spoonful of sour cream and some chives.

Stir the coarsely grated potatoes with a whole egg and flour

Season with salt and pepper and add crushed cumin, marjoram or smoked paprika to taste.

Fry the pancakes in hot oil until crispy on each side and then serve with a spoonful of sour cream, sprinkled with chopped chives.
