Specialise your diet with an original poppy-cherry bread that tastes great on its own or with homemade marmalade and a mug of hot cocoa. Recipe prepared for you by: Blogger Michaela Šupáková
1. Pour the milk into a small saucepan, add the poppy seeds, stir and let cook for about 5 minutes. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool down. 2. Beat 4 whole eggs and 1 egg yolk in the bowl of a KitchenAid food processor. Add the sugar or stevia, melted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt and let the processor beat everything until smooth. 3. Fold the poppy seed mixture into the smooth mixture, stir in the baking powder and gradually add the flour. Put on the flat beater and let the processor work the dough smooth. Fold the pitted cherries into the finished batter and mix lightly to combine the cherries with the batter. 4. pour the prepared batter into a KitchenAid bread pan (I lightly greased it with coconut oil for better taste) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. Once baked, let the loaf cool and slice it into slices.
