Pasta with tomatoes and lentils recipe
Ingredients
4 servings 350 g penne 1 pc. Onion Olive oil 3 cloves of garlic 400 g chopped tomatoes in a can 1 tsp dried basil 250 g lentils in water grated Parmesan cheese to serve fresh basil to serve salt ground pepper
Method of preparation
1 Boil the pasta according to the water on the packaging. Finely chop the onion and fry it in a pan in olive oil. Add the chopped garlic and fry for just one minute. Add the tomatoes and bring to the boil.
TIP: How to store garlic
2 Season the sauce with salt, pepper and dried basil. Drain the lentils and add them to the sauce, stir and warm them up. Toss the pasta well with the sauce and divide among the plates. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese and add fresh basil.
