Organic Chicken with Easter Stuffing

Easter recipe for oven baked chicken stuffed with Easter stuffing. Recipe with organic ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 pk organic chicken 5 pcs of organic bread 4 pcs of organic eggs 1 pc small organic shallots 1 pc strips of organic garlic 150 g of organic spinach 1 cup of organic cream 1 handful bio parsley sprigs 1 handful bio thyme a pinch of mace pepper salt

Procedure:

  • First, heat your oven to about 180 degrees. Next, prepare your chicken by seasoning it with salt and pepper, on all sides.
  • On a baking tray, toast your diced bread for two minutes. Then take it out and moisten it with a little milk. Next, whisk the egg whites and a pinch of salt into a stiff snow and use the yolks to make a mixture with the spinach. Add the spinach (fresh or thawed), egg yolks and bread to a large bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and add nutmeg to taste. When the stuffing is seasoned, gently stir in the snow.
  • Fill the chicken with the stuffing thus prepared and tie it together with string to prevent the mixture from running out. If you have leftover stuffing, you can shape it into balls and bake them together with the chicken.
  • Decorate the chicken with freshly chopped herbs – we recommend thyme and butter. After about a quarter of an hour of baking, remove the balls. Allow the chicken to bake for another 45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Recommendation:

    As a light side dish with the chicken and dumplings, we recommend organic spinach.
