Orava Christmas cabbage soup with fish
ingredients
2 liters of sauerkraut water 6 cloves garlic 1 handful of dried mushrooms 2 pcs homemade smoked sausage pcs ground black pepper 250 ml whipped cream 2 tbsp plain flour 1 kg smoked fish 1 pcs onion

On Christmas Eve we cook this cabbage soup.

We put mushrooms and whole sausages into the fermented water to cook.

After half an hour, add the smoked fish.

Pick out the sausage and cut into rounds. Thicken the soup with a cream and flour dressing.

Fry the onion in a little lard, add to the soup.

Stir together, boil.
