Pull Apart Bread

Last Updated on
Stacked bread made of rye bread flour and plain wheat flour filled with grated Gran Moravia cheese, butter, garlic and a mixture of herbs.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Mix the ingredients (mix the dry ones first, then add the oil and water) with a mixer and then by hand until you get a smooth loaf – you can also use a home baker
2. Sprinkle the dough with a little flour, cover with a cloth and leave to rise for an hour or two
3. Roll out a rectangle (about 30×50 cm) on a floured roll and brush it with melted butter mixed with crushed garlic
4. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and cheese
5. Cut the sheet lengthwise into 5 strips, stack them on top of each other and cut them into 6 pieces (it reminded me a bit of cutting homemade wide noodles)
6. Let the dough rise for another twenty minutes, brush the top with a little butter and bake in a preheated oven (about 180 °C) for about 30-40 minutes, respecting the experience with your own oven
8.
Recommendation:
If you are working with fresh yeast, make a leaven with lukewarm water, sugar and two tablespoons of plain flour (take this from the weighed quantity). Leave this to rise for about twenty minutes. Add it to the other ingredients and sprinkle the dough with a little flour, cover it with a cloth and leave it to rise for an hour or two.
