Mushroom dumplings

125 g butter 1 clove garlic 250 g fresh mushrooms 300 g white pastry 200 ml milk 3 pcs egg 2 tbsp plain flour a little chopped parsley to taste breadcrumbs a little ground black pepper to taste salt

On 25 g of butter, briefly fry the pressed garlic and add the finely chopped mushrooms. Season with salt and simmer until tender. Remove and let cool.

Cut the bread into cubes, pour in the milk and let soak for a while. Then mix with eggs, stewed mushrooms, flour, finely chopped parsley and 25 g of heated butter. If necessary, thicken with breadcrumbs. Season the mixture lightly with salt and pepper and leave to stand for 20 minutes.

With floured hands, form small dumplings about 3 cm in diameter from the mixture. Place them in boiling salted water and cook for about 15 min. Remove the cooked dumplings and drizzle with the remaining melted butter on a plate.
