Mushroom dumpling

2 tbsp butter 1 pk onion 500 g fresh mushrooms a little salt a little ground black pepper a little parsley 100 ml milk a little breadcrumbs 2 pk egg whites a little butter for greasing
procedure

Fry the finely chopped onion in the heated butter. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and slowly simmer until tender. Season them lightly with salt and pepper.

Add finely chopped parsley, milk and thicken with breadcrumbs to the stewed and cooled mushrooms. Finally, stir in the stiff egg whites.

Place the mixture in a buttered baking dish. Level the surface with a knife and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown. Cut into squares and serve with buttered boiled potatoes and a vegetable salad.
