Mexican soup á-la chilli con carne

Ground beef sautéed on onions, simmered in beef broth along with a can of spicy beans and peeled tomatoes.

Procedure:
1. Fry chopped onion in oil, add ground beef, fry briefly, pour in stock and cook until meat is tender, stirring occasionally
2. Add a can of tomatoes and a can of beans with chilli sauce, simmer for 5 minutes 3. Finally season the soup with salt and pepper, if you like it spicy, add a few drops of Tabasco
4. Pour into bowls, garnish with a sprig of young onion and serve with bread as a thick lunch or overnight soup.
