Lentil soup with roasted sausage

Traditional sour milk lentil soup with smoked sausage.

Take lentils, wash and soak in water for at least 1 hour. Cut the smoked sausage into rounds and fry on both sides in a frying pan in oil.

Fry the sliced garlic in the oil. Add the drained lentils, bay leaves and pour in the broth. Season with salt, pepper and vegetarian seasoning to taste and cook.

Then add the diced potatoes and cook until soft.

Finally, thicken the soup with 1 tbsp of flour dissolved in a little milk and boil.

Pour the cream over the cooked soup and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Finally, sweeten and season with vinegar to taste, bring to the boil and remove from the stove.

Serve the soup with fried smoked sausage and homemade bread. Enjoy!
