Lentil-potato porridge

200 g lentils 500 g potatoes 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp soy sauce 2 pcs red onion 1 tbsp ground hot red pepper 2 tbsp oil
procedure
1. Soak the lentils in water for 2 hours, then drain the water and cook until tender. Drain. 2. Peel the potatoes and cut them in half. Boil in lightly salted water until tender. 3. Drain the water, add 1 tbsp butter and blend the potatoes with an immersion blender until smooth. 4. Fry the onion in olive oil until golden and add the drained and cooked lentils. 5. Add 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp hot red pepper. Stir, stir fry for 2-3 more minutes and add to the mashed potatoes. 6. Stir everything once more and serve warm as a side dish or main dish with egg. 7. Bon appetit!
