4 servings 250 g slices of bread from the previous day 250 ml of milk 40 g of coarse flour 2 pcs. 2 eggs 20 g of dissolved salt 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley 1 pinch of grated nutmeg 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of ground pepper
Procedure for the recipe
1 Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Whisk the egg yolks with the milk and salt. Cut the rolls or buns into cubes, place in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Then sprinkle a little nutmeg on top. Mix and add the egg yolk-butter mixture. In the meantime, whisk the egg whites. Add the flour and stir it into the dough.
TIP. Shape the dough into dumplings, place them on cling film and wrap them tightly so that the cling film overlaps at both ends and can be wrapped like a large sweet. Then wrap the dumplings in foil.
