This layered dessert is a dream come true for everyone who loves Crêpes. Thanks to a trick with an empty milk carton, we prepare the most delicious crêpe dessert ever. It consists of a brownie, chocolatey crêpes, white cream and jam. At the end, everything is topped with a crunchy ganache – ready is this delicious layered wonder.
For this you need:
300 g flour 75 g cocoa 3 eggs 300 ml milk 300 ml mineral water 1 tsp salt 3 tbsp sugar
For the cream:
400 g white chopped couverture 240 ml whole milk 100 g soft butter 300 g very stiffly whipped cream
For the ganache:
300 g dark chocolate 300 g cream 10 g soft butter
In addition:
ready-made brownie (bought or homemade) red jam grated chocolate 2 sliced 1-liter milk cartons
How it works:
1. First, you prepare the cream. Heat the milk to about 60 °C and pour it üe over the finely chopped, white chocolate. When the chocolate has cooled down a bit, add softened butter in pieces. Mix everything with a whisk. Finally, fold in the stiffly whipped cream. If you add 2-3 sheets of gelatin, the cream will be firmer and will be easier to assemble later. The cream must then cool for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
2. Then you prepare the chocolate crêpes. Mix flour with cocoa and add egg, salt, sugar and milk. Whisk until smooth. Add the mineral water and mix again. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes. Brush a pan with Öl and bake the crêpes in it.
3. Now prepare the ganache. Heat the cream to about 60 °C and pour it üe over the chopped chocolate. Melt the chocolate and add butter. Mix everything together. Then put the ganache aside for now.
4. Now the „layer work“ begins: cut both milk cartons lengthwise, as shown in the following picture, and line one of them with trimmed brownie batter.
5. Cut the chocolate crêpes in the pan. It is best to use the other cut open milk carton as a template.
6. Put the white cream on the brownie base in the milk carton and spread it with a löffel.
7. Spread a tablespoon of jam in the middle of the cream.
8. Now place a trimmed crêpe in the half of the still empty milk carton.
9. Place another cut-to-size crêpe in the milk carton that already has the brownie base and cream.
10. Spread a layer of white cream in both halves. Put some jam in the center of the box with only the crêpe and cream.
11. Rasp some chocolate in the other box.
12. Then put another layer of crème, white cream, jam and chocolate shavings in both boxes. Then fold both sides of the carton over each other and carefully remove the packaging from the contents. Spread the dessert again with the white cream and cover it with the ganache. Refrigerate the dessert for a few hours before serving.
So handy can be two empty milk cartons! No need for a mold anymore. A layered dessert with crêpes that could have come straight from heaven. Have fun feasting!
