City BBQ potato salad recipe
Summer is finally here! With the warmer weather comes picnics, BBQs, and potlucks galore. We love to bring a dish to share with friends and family, and our go-to favourite is always potato salad. This City BBQ Potato Salad Recipe is the perfect side dish for any outdoor event. It’s packed with flavour, easy to make, and always a hit with everyone.
-5 lbs red potatoes
-1/2 cup mayonnaise
-1/2 cup yellow mustard
-1/2 cup BBQ sauce
-1/4 cup dill pickle relish
-1 tsp celery seed
-1 tsp salt
-1/4 tsp black pepper
1. Start by boiling the potatoes until they are tender. We like to leave the skin on for extra flavour and texture, but you can peel them if you prefer. Once they are cooked, allow them to cool slightly before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, BBQ sauce, dill pickle relish, celery seed, salt, and black pepper.
3. Add the chopped potatoes to the bowl and gently stir everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated.
4. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. This will allow the flavours to meld together and taste even better.
