Bacon pasta † la Antti Rinne

Demarijuehrer Antti Rinne does not waste calories on food. Try Rinne’s bacon pasta and spend the rest of the week patting your stomach.

Ingredients for four

500 g spaghetti (dry) 800 g bacon 800g black cheese grated 1.5 pk red peppers 6 cloves of garlic6 dl cream 5 tbsp olive oil black pepper and salt

Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. When the water boils, add a generous pinch of salt and bring the spaghetti to the boil ”al dente”.

Cut the bacon into small pieces. Wash and dice the peppers. Chop the garlic cloves.

Open a large pan and start cooking the bacon pieces in it; they will separate as they cook. Add the diced peppers to the pan and fry until they soften slightly. Season with garlic and a generous grinding of pepper.

Add cream and half of the grated cheese. Remove the lamp from the plate and stir the bacon sauce for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts.

When the spaghetti is cooked, pour off the water and drizzle with olive oil. Stir the spaghetti into the sauce in a saucepan with the remaining grated cheese.

Let the bacon paste simmer for a while in the saucepan and enjoy.
