Honest burger with homemade buns and dressing

Hamburgers:
800 g ground beef 1 pk onion 1 KL salt 1 KL black pepper
Homemade buns:
400 g plain flour 1 packet dried yeast 2 tbsp sugar 2 pcs egg 60 ml lukewarm milk 80 ml lukewarm water 3 tbsp oil 1 KL salt sesame seeds for sprinkling
Quick dressing:
6 tbsp mayonnaise 3 tbsp ketchup 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp black pepper

When you get a hankering for a burger remember that the most honest one is the one you make at home. For example:
1.
Meat: Place the beef in a bowl.
2.
Add finely chopped onion, salt and pepper. Process everything together.
3.
Cover the meat mixture with cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Later, fry the meatballs on a lightly greased pan or grill on both sides.

Ground: Mix the dry ingredients – flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a bowl.

Add the whole eggs, oil, warm water and milk and work everything together to form a dough which is allowed to rest briefly and then transferred to a well floured board where it is worked into an elastic loaf.

Roll out the dough into a thick sheet and cut out buns, which you place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the surface with oil and sprinkle the buns with sesame seeds.

Bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes.

In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the dressing: mayonnaise, ketchup, vinegar, sugar, worcestershire and pepper.

Store the dressing in the refrigerator.
