Haringsla – herring salad

Recipe from Dutch cuisine, where herrings are very popular as an ingredient and salads are prepared in many ways.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Cut the herring into strips, peel and dice the cooked potatoes and beetroot, also dice the peeled apples, and the pickles
2. Mix all the chopped ingredients, pepper, lightly salt and let them sit for a while
3. Before serving, spread lettuce leaves on plates, put the salad on, garnish with sour cream and boiled egg rings.
Recommendation:
Sour cream can be replaced by mayonnaise.
