Gratinated potatoes with zucchini

250 ml milk 250 ml sweet cream 1 kg finely chopped potatoes pcs butter pcs grated nutmeg pcs salt pcs black pepper 2 pcs finely chopped zucchini 200 g g grated cheese 1 clove garlic

You can serve these creamy potatoes with zucchini as a main dish or as a side dish with meat or fish.

Pour the milk and cream into a deep saucepan.

Season the mixture with butter, nutmeg, salt, pepper and who likes garlic whole.

Bring the milk mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally (be careful, the milk tends to get too hot) and immediately turn down to a simmer.

Add the finely chopped potatoes. Cook just below boiling point for about 10 minutes, or until potatoes are semi-soft.

Add finely grated zucchini and cheese. Stir. Do not boil.

Butter the bowl. Pour the resulting mixture into it. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the gratin potatoes uncovered for about 40 minutes, or until they are tender and golden on the outside.

Let the potatoes rest for 10 minutes before serving.
