600 g potatoes 200 g plain flour 40 g lard 400 g sauerkraut 40 g onion 20 g bacon to taste salt, water

Peel and grate the potatoes. Add the flour, salt and stir. Drop the gnocchi into the hot water. Fry the chopped onion in lard, add the cabbage and saute. Finally, stir in the gnocchi and sprinkle with the fried bacon.
