Gelato with vanilla ice cream and lemon balm

Have you ever tasted a classic bun with a lid. But what if the base is grease? If you happen to have some left over from Easter, you can immediately incorporate it into a classic Old Bohemian delicacy. We enriched it with a good dose of cottage cheese, caramelised apples, raisins dipped in rum and fragrant cinnamon and vanilla. If you want to sweeten up your life, add vanilla ice cream to the still hot bun and crown the dish with lemon balm leaves.

Ingredients:

Number of servings: 6 servings 1 piece of marjoram 6 pcs apple 3 pcs eggs 500 g fat curd 150 g raisins 120 g of butter + to grease the mould 100 g powdered sugar 70 g semolina sugar 750 ml milk vanilla pod cinnamon cinnamon rum To serve: vanilla ice cream fresh lemon balm leaves

Procedure:

Pour rum over the raisins and let them soak. Then put the curd, 50 g melted butter and 100 g icing sugar in a bowl. Mix everything well.

Slice the peeled and cored apples and fry them in a pan with 40 g of butter. We can do it twice. Before turning, you can lightly sprinkle them with sugar to caramelize them.

Pour the milk into a large bowl, add 3 eggs, vanilla, 70 g of granulated sugar and mix well with a whisk. Place a 1 cm thin slice of sourdough into the mixture and let it soak in thoroughly.

Place the wafers in a pre-greased baking dish. When the bottom of the baking dish is covered with the slices of mazanka, make another layer of apple slices, which are then sprinkled with cinnamon. Pour the raisins over the apples. Pour and spread some cottage cheese. And put another layer of soaked spread. Repeat the layers until you finish with the last layer of the spread.

On this last layer, spread the last of the butter, about 40 g.

Place the spread in a preheated oven at 170 °C and bake for about 30 minutes, so that the spread is golden on top.

Serve the fondant with vanilla ice cream and fresh lemon balm leaves.
