Scented pizza dough rolls that will stay beautifully soft for days.
1.
In a bowl, mix flour, salt and dry yeast.
2.
Add warm water and work the dough with your hands or a kneading hook, then knead well on a floured board.
3.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl and let it rise, covered, for 30 to 45 minutes.
4.
In the meantime, make the spread for the dough: work the softened butter, oil, salt, crushed garlic and chopped chives with a fork into the spread.
5.
Press the air out of the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangular sheet about 4 mm thick.
6.
Spread the prepared spread on the sheet and place the ham slices and grated hard cheese (in this recipe it was specifically Cleopatra cheese) on top.
7.
Roll up the dough and cut the roll into thicker rounds. These can be baked on a baking sheet with parchment paper like pizza rolls, or place them in a greased muffin tin and bake in it.
8.
In both cases – the rolls and muffins – let them rise on the baking sheet for another 30 minutes, brush with beaten egg, and then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
9.
Good taste!
