Fried cauliflower with potatoes and homemade tartar sauce

Who wouldn’t know cauliflower boiled for a while, disassembled into individual florets, drained, coated in batter and breadcrumbs, fried nicely until golden brown, served with boiled potatoes and homemade tartar sauce.

Ingredients:

1 piece of cauliflower 2 pcs of eggplant 1 tsp of veggies 100 ml milk plain flour breadcrumbs water salt frying oil For potatoes: 500 g of potatoes 1.5 l water 1 tsp of cumin 1 tsp salt For the tartar sauce: 1 smaller package of mayonnaise 1 piece smaller pickles 1 pc apple a little onion lemon juice pepper sugar

Procedure:

1. Take the cauliflower and boil it in salted water for about 5 minutes, then drain and let it cool
2. Beat the eggs, milk, flour and vegeta with a whisk to make a liquid batter, the amount of flour is not indicated intentionally, it should be added according to the density of the batter
3. Toss the cauliflower into the batter a few pieces at a time, mix, transfer to the breadcrumbs mix and it is coated
4. Fry in a deep fryer or in a deeper pan so that the cauliflower floats nicely in the oil
5. Serve the fried cauliflower florets until golden with boiled potatoes drizzled with butter and preferably homemade tartar sauce.

Potato preparation:
1. Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into larger cubes, rinse them thoroughly again, then drain thoroughly
2. Put the drained potatoes in a pot and pour cold water over them
3. Salt the water, season with cumin and boil for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are soft.

Preparation of simple homemade tartar:
1. Grate the washed, drained apple
2. Put the mayonnaise in a bowl, add finely chopped cucumber, onion, finely grated apple, lemon juice, pepper and a little sugar
