Clean the beedle of leaves and trim the legs close to the head. Split the larger pieces.

Prepare the ingredients for the triple wrap. Beat the egg with a fork, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Coat the mussels in flour, egg and breadcrumbs.

Fry the lettuces on both sides in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with cranberry sauce and potatoes or on bread.
